WHY DOUBLE WALL
Shape the complete silhouette
A double-wall closure separates the functional inner closure from the visible outer geometry. That makes it possible to create a wider, cleaner or more premium closure profile without changing the bottle itself.
It can be particularly effective on shampoo, conditioner and treatment packs where the closure diameter is a visible part of the brand architecture.

Match the closure to the bottle
Double-wall closures are most convincing when the outer diameter has been selected with the bottle shoulder and body proportions in mind. Ramson can coordinate bottle and closure instead of treating the closure as a late-stage accessory.

Six checks before sampling
Neck finish
Start with the bottle thread. A visually suitable outer shell is irrelevant if the functional inner closure does not fit the bottle.
Outer diameter
37 mm and 48 mm closures create very different proportions. Compare the closure diameter with bottle shoulder and body width.
Opening system
Disc-top and flip-top deliver different user behaviour. Choose the function first, then optimise the visual shell.
Finish
Matt, glossy and aluminium-look options should be reviewed against bottle colour and decoration under the same lighting conditions.
Product flow
For dispensing closures, formula viscosity and orifice geometry influence how the closure performs in daily use.
Transit test
The complete bottle/closure combination should be checked for sealing and transport performance with the intended product.

Do you supply double-wall disc-top closures?
Yes. Ramson has 37 mm and 48 mm double-wall disc-top families, including selected matt, glossy, PCR and aluminium-look variants.
Do you supply double-wall flip-top closures?
Yes. A 48 mm double-wall flip-top in 24/410 is part of the current portfolio, with additional double-wall closure formats available.
Can the closure be matched to a custom bottle?
Yes. Bottle diameter, shoulder geometry, neck finish and closure diameter can be considered together through Ramson’s Tailored Brand Packaging process.
Does “double walled” mean the same as “double-wall” closure?
