Production volumes & minimum orders
Ramson supplies packaging in production volumes. Minimum order quantities (MOQs) depend on the product and specification. Here is a practical starting point:
Bottles
Typically 10,000 units
Our usual starting volume for bottle production. Runs of 5,000 units may be possible for selected projects.
HDPE bottles
From 5,000 units
More flexible production volumes are possible on selected HDPE bottle projects, depending on the model and specification.
Pumps
10,000 units or 30,000 units
The minimum depends on the pump model. We confirm the quantity for the pump and bottle combination you choose.
These are indicative production volumes. The final MOQ is confirmed for your selected product, colour and decoration.
Smaller sample orders
Sample orders may be possible for selected projects. Availability, quantity and cost are agreed separately from the production order.

Airless or a bottle with a pump?
Start with formula behaviour, target dose and filling process. Airless limits air re-entering the product chamber during dispensing; a dip-tube pump draws from a compatible bottle. Test the complete pack with the actual formula before approval.

Fit depends on thread and sealing geometry, dip-tube length, output and formula performance. Send the bottle drawing or a physical sample when asking Ramson to specify a pump.

PCR describes post-consumer recycled content. Mono-material describes a construction based on one polymer. Refill describes how the pack is used again. These are different choices and can sometimes be combined; the selected model and destination market determine what is suitable.

European production options are available on selected products, alongside Asian production routes. Confirm the origin of the specific bottle, pump and closure when you request a quotation; a complete pack can include components from different production locations.

Send the product or formula type, fill volume, target dose, quantity per order, estimated annual volume, decoration needs, delivery country and launch date. Add drawings, artwork or an existing pack where available.

They depend on the selected model, components, colour, decoration, tooling and production route. Ramson confirms quantities, sample options and timing for the specific project. Include your required delivery date so the proposal can be assessed against it.
